2023 Nissan LEAF Arrives with New Look and Lineup | United Nissan

Published on Apr 15, 2022 by United Nissan Team

2023 LEAF: What’s new?

For more than a decade, the LEAF has represented Nissan’s commitment to bringing sustainable mobility to the masses. The 2023 edition continues this vision by keeping the same price but adding striking styling features, new aluminum-alloy wheels, and a revised trim lineup. Through these updates, the LEAF delivers maximum value and quality – while still maintaining its status as the most affordable EV.

The 2023 LEAF will arrive in two grade levels, LEAF S and LEAF SV PLUS. Using feedback from drivers, Nissan tailored these two trims based on drivers’ most requested technologies and updates. Along with the revised lineup, the design team enhanced the look and feel of the LEAF to better reflect Nissan’s new design identity. Some of these updates include an enhanced front-end appearance, refreshed front grille, bumper molding, and headlights that feature a new black inner finisher. New shaping and rear spoiler also support better aerodynamics – though the estimated driving range remains largely unchanged.

2023 Nissan LEAF Pricing

In 2022, Nissan lowered the MSRP of the LEAF to provide the best value to drivers. The 2023 LEAF S and SV Plus will continue this popular positioning, with both models maintaining similar starting prices. As of 2022, the LEAF S has an MSRP of $27,400, and the LEAF S PLUS starts at $32,400.

Qualified purchases may also be eligible for a potential federal tax credit of up to $7,500. In today’s market where inflation is growing each year, this is a reassuring benefit from Nissan.

Not only does the MSRP reflect the value of the LEAF, but it’s also one of the most cost-efficient vehicles available on the market. Last year, the LEAF was named KBB’s annual “5-Year Cost-to-Own” winner making it the fifth consecutive year it’s been awarded this title. Plus, with the way gas prices are looking – it just makes sense to go electric!

2023 Nissan LEAF S vs. 2023 Nissan LEAF SV Plus

Cut from five trims to two, the 2023 LEAF offers a simplified lineup for shoppers. The base model is equipped with a 40-kWh lithium-ion battery and a 110-kW electric motor. Together, they deliver 147 hp, 236 lb-ft of torque, and an all-electric drive range of 150 miles.

On the upgraded SV PLUS, the EV is equipped with a 60-kWh lithium-ion battery and a powerful 160-kW electric motor that produces 214 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque. Similar to the previous model year, it is expected to offer 215 miles of all-electric driving range.

Both grade levels come with a limited lithium-ion battery warranty which covers defects for eight years or 100,000 miles. Nissan also provides a limited warranty against battery capacity loss for the same duration.

Even better, when you buy a LEAF at United Nissan, it comes with a Never-Ending Warranty which covers repairs on your powertrain for as long as you own the vehicle – unlimited time, unlimited miles. Drive with peace of mind knowing your car is covered in the event of mechanical failure. Valid only at United Nissan.
