Voted the Lowest 5-Year Cost to Own SUV in 2021 by Kelley Blue Book, the Armada is a good entry into the full-size SUV market without sacrificing budget. It also shares key similarities with the luxe Infiniti QX80, which is built on the same platform and shares the same parent company. For example, the two vehicles both come standard with a 400-horsepower V8 engine, share similar cargo volumes, and a comparable list of safety features. The main difference – the Armada’s starting price is over $20k less than the QX80.

Starting at an attractive MSRP of $50,395 (including destination fee), the Armada beats out competitors like the Ford Expedition and Chevrolet Tahoe in both price and value. Some key features include its 12.3-inch touchscreen, 18-inch alloy wheels with a full-size spare, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Exterior colors are limited to silver, black, and gray.

Building off the Armada S, the SV adds additional capabilities and convenience features. The 4-speaker audio system is upgraded to a 6-speaker system, and it includes a wireless charging pad. Along with this, the SV adds rear privacy glass, leatherette upholstered seats, and heated front seats. Drivers can choose between one additional paint color choice, Aspen White Tricoat.

The 2022 Armada SV includes all of the features on the S, as well as:

For those looking to take advantage of the Armada’s truck-like capabilities, the SL makes a good choice. The Armada SL picks up the SV’s optional Appearance package upgrades and adds to it with trailer sway control, power steering and mirrors, and remote engine start. Along with this, the Armada SL includes a 360-degree Around View monitor and a power moonroof for those late-night adventures outback. The Platinum trim is the Armada at its fullest. For an MSRP of $66,395 (including destination fee), you’ll get all the SL’s standard features plus a plethora of technology and convenience upgrades. For those cold winters, the Armada Platinum brings peace of mind with its heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats and steering wheel, and rain-sensing wipers.

The Platinum also gains unique driver assist technology like traffic sign recognition and Intelligent Backup Collision Intervention. And if you’re on a long road trip, its rear-seat entertainment system will keep the whole family occupied. This includes two 8-inch display screens, two wireless headsets, and an HDMI input. Unique to the Platinum is Coulis Red Pearl paint.
